This read-only guide explains enrollment in the authenticated Rider and Driver accounts. It does not enroll anyone.

A supervised development test

Kzoo Cars is a pre-launch ride-dispatch software project being developed by Ibrahim Haynes and Solomon Carpenter for a planned local ride service. The requested messaging activation is limited to a supervised development test with two invited adult participants and fictional trips. Automated messages identify Kzoo Cars and cover enrollment confirmation and trip-status updates. No transportation, payments, marketing or public customer messaging will occur during this test. Each participant independently opts in through their authenticated account.

The program remains limited to this supervised test while sender verification is being completed. This guide does not claim messaging approval or a registration exemption.

The accepted test scope is one supervised window of up to 60 minutes, two consenting participants, no more than 10 application messages or 20 application segments, and $5 total associated messaging charges, including provider acknowledgments and fees. Dispatch coordinates the window and handset checks with each participant.

1. Save a number, without subscribing

An invited participant signs in to their own Rider or Driver account and opens Trip update texts. The participant saves their own mobile number for approval. Saving sends nothing and is not consent. SMS is optional; declining it does not remove app access or prevent a test-trip request.

Operator approval applies to that account, role and exact saved number revision. Changing the number turns texts off, invalidates stale work and requires a new approval and enrollment. Being invited or approved is not consent.

2. Personally choose optional consent

Only after eligibility is resolved, the exact saved revision is approved and a bounded sending window is open can the participant subscribe. The consent checkbox starts unchecked. The participant reads the Privacy policy and SMS terms, checks the optional box themselves and selects Subscribe to ride updates.

The application displays this consent wording:

I agree to receive automated Kzoo Cars fictional trip updates at this number. Message frequency varies with my test trips. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not required to use the app. These are test rides; no car will be sent.
Demonstration of the actual optional unchecked consent control, policy links and unavailable Subscribe button while sending is paused.
Demonstration screen: the checkbox is unchecked and Subscribe is disabled. This is evidence of the paused interface, not a completed opt-in or an invitation to subscribe publicly.

3. Confirmation comes before trip texts

Successful subscription saves consent and queues one enrollment confirmation together. Repeating the same submission does not generate another welcome. No reply YES is required.

Kzoo Cars TEST: You are subscribed to fictional ride updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. No car will be sent.

Trip texts wait for the provider's delivered confirmation receipt. Provider acceptance alone is not delivery, and a delivery receipt is not proof that a person read the message. The supervised test separately checks receipt on each handset.

Confirmation must remain within its short validity period and the approved window. Failed, expired or uncertain confirmation requires operator review; reopening the window does not send a surprise welcome or replay old messages. Pause, withdrawn consent, changed numbers and revoked access invalidate or suppress ineligible work. A message already accepted by the provider cannot be recalled.

STOP, START and HELP

STOP
Stops texts to that number and suppresses queued work. You can also choose Keep texts off / stop texts in the app. The carrier may provide the toll-free STOP acknowledgment.
START
Removes the provider messaging block. It does not create new app consent, restore revoked access, override approval or replay a welcome or old messages. Valid app consent, current approval and the sending window must still qualify for future notifications.
HELP
Provides Kzoo Cars help information when provider messaging is available. Message and data rates may apply. Support/privacy: solomonjuliuscarpenter@gmail.com.

Inbound keywords and delivery receipts remain signature-validated while outbound sending is paused. Provider acknowledgments may be separate messages; the test budget includes them. Provider receipts and participant handset checks are recorded separately during the supervised test; this guide is not evidence of a completed handset test.

Policies and account access

Existing invited participants can sign in to their account. There is no public SMS enrollment form. Applying for an account is separate from consent and does not book a ride.
